S.A. Newsletters, LLC, a California limited liability company (the "Company"), is committed to protecting the privacy of Sound Advice subscribers and ex-subscribers. Toward that end, we have adopted the following policies to safeguard subscriber information:

Information We Might Receive

Our subscribers may provide contact information for their subscriptions and personal financial information in response to our questionnaires and when seeking to qualify as accredited investors. The Company may receive copies of such private financial information in connection with the services it provides its subscribers. Individual investors generally may provide personal information on the investor qualification statement or investor questionnaire, and may include information such as name and address, and financial information including assets and general information about your investment experience. We will not share financial information with outside companies. However, we may share personal and financial information about you with our affiliated companies (companies we own or control).

Access to Information

Employee access to nonpublic investor information is provided in connection with the Company's business purposes only and is granted only to Company employees. Access is based on the need to know such information. The Company requires each of its employees who have access to investor information to protect and keep it confidential.

Security Standards

The Company continues to assess new technology to evaluate its ability to provide additional protection of subscriber personal information. The Company safeguards this information in accordance with federal standards and established security standards and procedures. Measures taken in this regard include implementation of physical, electronic and procedural safeguards.

Sharing Information

We may sell or share subscriber information to affiliates and third parties. In the course of conducting business, we may disclose subscriber names, addresses, and other information to Company affiliates, brokers, issuers and other businesses including non-affiliated third parties, as permitted by law, in order to:

  • Communicate with our subscribers;
  • Provide information to subscribers about special investment situations to those qualified subscribers who request such information and who submit investment questionnaires, including sharing subscriber contact information and financial information of qualified investors with potential issuers of private placement securities;
  • Respond to a subpoena, prevent fraud, or comply with an inquiry by a government agency or regulator;
  • Take appropriate action if we reasonably conclude that the subscriber or others are involved in illegal or improper conduct, such as breach of contract, unfair business practices or infringement of proprietary rights.

Opt-Out Provision

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties or our affiliates, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than those disclosures permitted by law). If you wish to opt out of disclosures, you may mail the opt out notice on the reverse side to us at: S.A. Newsletters, LLC, 939 Hartz Way, Suite 210, Danville, CA 94526 in the attached envelope or as otherwise explained in the attached notice.

Application

Our privacy policy applies to all subscribers and recipients of our newsletters. Any subscriber having concerns regarding this privacy policy is encouraged to contact us Monday through Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm., Pacific Time: 800-866-0026.

This Notice does not expand legal obligations. This Notice is not intended to create any liability other than that already found in the law. This notice is effective as of 1/1/2000. There have been no significant changes to the policy since 1/1/2000.
